SERVICE AGREEMENT: THE PATTERN PLACE MEMBERSHIP
This Agreement is entered into by and between Tricia Camacho, Creative Costume Academy ("Provider") and you ("Member") as of the date of purchase.
Service Description
The Provider agrees to deliver The Pattern Place, an online membership community for pattern makers (collectively, "the Membership"). The Membership includes:
- Access to a searchable library of classes focused on pattern making, fitting, and sewing
- Two live events per month: a Q&A session and a new class (taught by the Provider or guest instructors)
- Access to The Pattern Place Facebook community
- Weekly Friday live sessions for questions and project discussions
- Monthly community updates and motivation posts (Motivation Mondays, Worktable Wednesdays)
- Optional participation in the Quarterly Special Project with entry into a $100 raffle upon completion
- Free downloadable sloper files (print-at-home or for external printing)
Pricing and Payment Terms
Monthly Membership: $57 per month (or $51.30 per month during presale periods)
Yearly Membership: $627 per year (or $564.30 during presale periods)
Payment is processed automatically on the billing date. Sales tax is not included in these totals and will be noted in billing. By purchasing, the Member agrees to the selected payment plan and knows that all payments are final once processed.
VIP Upgrade (Optional Add-On)
Members may purchase the VIP Upgrade for $800, which includes:
- Four (4) private virtual sessions with the Provider via Zoom
- Personalized sloper fitting guidance to create a perfectly fitted base pattern
- Six (6) months from the date of VIP purchase to complete all four sessions
Pre-Work Requirements: Before the first VIP session, Members are responsible for:
- Selecting the appropriate sloper size (guidance provided by the Provider)
- Adding correct seam allowances to the sloper files
- Cutting the sloper out of muslin fabric
- Preparing for a fitting session
The Provider is available to guide Members through this pre-work process and answer any questions via email at
hello@creativecostumeacademy.com. Members are encouraged to reach out for support at any time during their VIP experience.
Session Expiration: If the Member does not complete all four VIP sessions within six (6) months of purchase, access to the remaining sessions will expire. No refunds or extensions will be granted for unused sessions.
The Provider will reach out to VIP Members to schedule sessions and provide support, but it is the Member's responsibility to actively engage and complete the pre-work to maximize the value of their upgrade.
Cancellation and Pause Policy
Monthly Members:
- May cancel their membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for the current month.
- May pause their membership for up to 6 months. Pauses must be requested BEFORE the next billing date by contacting the Provider's team at hello@creativecostumeacademy.com. If a payment processes before a pause request is received, no refund will be issued, and the Member will retain full access for that month.
- During a pause, Members retain access to The Pattern Place Facebook community and monthly updates but do NOT have access to live calls or the class library.
- If the Member does not reactivate within 6 months, the membership will be cancelled.
Yearly Members:
- May cancel their membership at any time, but no pro-rated refunds will be issued for the remaining months.
- Pause options are NOT available for yearly memberships due to the single annual payment structure.
No Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of this Membership and immediate access to proprietary content, no refunds will be granted once payment is processed. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Monthly or yearly membership fees
- VIP Upgrade fees (including unused sessions)
- Sloper files purchased separately prior to joining The Pattern Place (as slopers are included free with membership)
- Any charges that process before a pause or cancellation request is received
The Member agrees to this policy upon purchase.
Intellectual Property and Non-Disclosure
The Member knows that all materials, classes, recorded content, sloper files, frameworks, and instructional content shared within The Pattern Place are the intellectual property of the Provider and/or guest instructors.
The Member agrees NOT to:
- Record, download, copy, share, redistribute, or resell any content from the Membership
- Share login credentials or grant access to non-members
- Use any proprietary content for commercial purposes without the Provider's express written consent
Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
Privacy and Testimonials
The Provider is committed to creating a safe and private space for all Members, particularly given the vulnerable nature of fitting work and personal sewing projects.
Privacy:
- Photos, progress posts, and personal work shared within The Pattern Place Facebook community are visible only to other Members and will not be shared publicly without the Member's explicit written consent.
Marketing Use:
- By purchasing the Membership, the Member grants the Provider permission to use anonymised screenshots, quotes, and descriptions of the Member's experience and results for marketing and promotional purposes.
- No full names, photos, or identifying details will be shared publicly without the Member's explicit written consent.
Member Responsibility
The Member is responsible for:
- Applying the information, techniques, and strategies provided within the Membership
- Contacting the Provider's team at hello@creativecostumeacademy.com for any technical issues, pause requests, login problems, or questions
- Printing sloper files at their own discretion and expense (files are provided digitally)
- Completing VIP pre-work and scheduling sessions within the 6-month window (if applicable)
The Provider is not liable for any perceived lack of results, technical issues outside of the Provider's control, or the Member's individual implementation and outcomes.
Disclaimer of Liability
While the Provider has successfully supported thousands of pattern makers through The Pattern Place, results are not guaranteed. Outcomes depend on the Member's individual skills, implementation, and circumstances.
The Provider is not responsible for printing errors, technical difficulties with third-party platforms (including Facebook), or any issues arising from the Member's use of downloaded files.
No Warranty
The Membership is provided "as is," with no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of the information shared.

Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States.
Acceptance
By completing this purchase, the Member confirms they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined above.
